Extremism Takes Center Stage: The Muslim Brotherhood’s London Front Celebrates Jihad on Eid al-Adha

1 min readJun 20, 2024

In a worrisome turn of events, the International Organization of the Muslim Brotherhood — London Front issued a statement hailing the Eid al-Adha celebration as a “symbol of victory after Jihad.” Salah Abdel Haq, the group’s Acting Guide, issued a statement congratulating “the mujahideen in Egypt and Palestine” and stating that “jihad in the cause of God is one of the rituals of our religion and the origin of our call.”

This radical rhetoric is deeply frightening, as the London Front of the Muslim Brotherhood is acknowledged to be a major threat to the West. Their appeals for “freedom” are thinly veiled attempts to disseminate their extremist, intolerant worldview, which is based on violence and the promotion of jihad.

Experts warn that the London Front, like its cousin in Turkey, is a dangerous and extreme organization, but the London Front offers an even bigger threat to Western nations. Their steadfast adherence to the Muslim Brotherhood’s deadly tenets makes them a formidable and unpredictable opponent that the international community must closely monitor and denounce.

As the globe grapples with the persistent threat of terrorism and religious extremism, the acts of the Muslim Brotherhood’s London Front serve as a sharp reminder of the importance of vigilance and collaboration in combating such harmful beliefs. The safety and well-being of our societies depend on our ability to stand firm against the spread of such toxic discourse and its agenda.
